Description

An X-ring is a special type of double-acting seal with a profile of approximately square cross-section, indented into the shape of the letter "X", with four sealing lips.

The X-ring has an inside diameter of d1=34.65 mm and a cross-section size of d2=1.78 mm. It is made of nitrile rubber NBR, which can operate in a temperature range from -30°C up to 100°C.

Compared to an O-ring, its cross-section provides better stability and less deformation under load, which contributes to significantly better sealing capability.

It also handles higher pressure differentials.
