O-rings, X-rings

O-rings are among the most common types of rubber seals. They are used for both static and dynamic applications. In the standard design, NBR 70 material is used; additionally, rings made of MVQ silicone rubber, EPDM rubber, or FPM (VITON) for higher temperatures are also available. A very wide range of sizes is available according to metric, imperial, and other dimensional standards. X-rings have a square cross-section with inwardly curved walls. They exhibit higher sealing performance and lower friction. They are used for double-acting static and dynamic sealing in a wide variety of applications. Material designs in NBR or FPM.
