V-rings
V-rings serve as seals for the rotary motion of shafts. The inclined sealing lip of the ring, which is mounted with an interference fit on the shaft and rotates with it, rests against the counterface. V-rings simultaneously act as slinger rings, while also compensating for a certain shaft misalignment. Two basic designs.
