Needle roller and cage assemblies

Needle roller and cage assemblies are used where both the shaft surface and the housing bore meet raceway requirements. In this case, an inner and outer ring are not required. The use of a needle roller and cage assembly significantly saves installation space, thus enabling very lightweight designs. The favorable ratio of the length of the needle rollers to their diameter provides high load capacity and rigidity of the bearing arrangement. Needle roller and cage assemblies have excellent rotational characteristics and high resistance to shock loads. Needle roller and cage assemblies are manufactured in many sizes and designs and are used in a wide range of applications.
