To increase the gear ratio, they can be combined with a pre-stage gear unit connected to the gearbox. Smaller gearbox sizes have an aluminum housing, while larger ones are made of cast iron. Standard range of gear ratios i = 7.5 to 100, power up to 7.5 kW.
