One-way bearing STIEBER CSK40 PP

CSK40 PP is a one-way bearing produced by the established brand Stieber, which is dimensionally derived from single-row deep groove ball bearings of the 62xx series, so its diameters correspond to the standard 6208 bearing, which has an inner diameter of 40 mm and an outer diameter of 80 mm. Compared to the 6208 bearing, it differs only in its larger width of 22 mm. 

The CSK40 PP freewheel bearing is factory-filled with grease and is shielded on both sides to prevent the penetration of dust particles larger than 0.3 mm. For more demanding applications, additional sealing of the bearing using Nilos rings is recommended.

The PP version features a keyway on both the inner and outer rings to increase torque transmission. The recommended shaft tolerance is h6 and the housing bore tolerance is H6. The bearing can operate trouble-free in a temperature range of +5°C to +60°C.

The fundamental characteristic of one-way/freewheel bearings is their ability to rotate in only one direction and block reverse rotation. They thus transmit torque with zero backlash. 

These bearings find their application in freewheel mechanisms, backstops to prevent reverse drive, indexing devices, etc., in mechanical engineering, conveyor systems, and other industries.
