Description

The GR MP 24/32 B TRASCO shaft coupling hub forms half of one of the most commonly used types of flexible jaw couplings. In general awareness, they are also known as ROTEX couplings.

The transmission of torque from the driving to the driven hub of the coupling is realized through an inserted central flexible element AR 24/32 R TRASCO made of polyurethane in the shape of a star, whose color design determines the hardness of the element and thus the value of the transmitted torque. The coupling allows radial, axial, and angular misalignment.

The cast iron hub of this type is in a finished version, i.e., ready for mounting on a shaft with a diameter of 28 mm, as it already has a pre-machined bore with a keyway and a set screw thread for axial securing.
