Description

The GR MP 19/24 B TRASCO shaft coupling hub forms half of one of the most commonly used types of flexible jaw couplings. They are also widely known under the brand name ROTEX.

The transmission of torque from the driving to the driven coupling hub is realized through an inserted central flexible element AR 19/24 R TRASCO made of polyurethane in the shape of a star, whose color determines the hardness of the element and thus also the value of the transmitted torque. The coupling allows for radial, axial, and angular misalignment.

The cast iron hub of this type is fully finished, i.e., ready for mounting on a shaft with a diameter of 16 mm, as it already features a pre-machined bore with a keyway and a set screw thread for axial securing.
