Description

The A 47 is a single-acting polyurethane wiper ring. The sealing lip of the ring is pressed against the piston rod, so that dirt is wiped from the surface of the piston rod due to the movement of the piston rod itself. Wipers made of TPU polyurethane are highly suitable for applications in mobile hydraulics where they are exposed to heavy contamination. Thanks to the good wear resistance of polyurethane, the A 47 type has a long service life. The standard range of A 47 rings has additional flats on its inner side, which assist in correct assembly and seating in the housing. Due to the additional shoulder on the outer ring, a better seal is achieved and a greater wiping force is exerted on the piston rod.
