Description

Classical section V-belt 17B from the Profi product line of the Czech manufacturer Rubena.
The belt has a top profile width of approx. 17 mm, a height of 11 mm, and an inside length of 1300 mm.
The belt construction consists of polyester tension cords vulcanized into the neoprene body of the belt, and the entire belt is then wrapped in a vulcanized textile fabric.
Wrapped classical section V-belts are among the first types historically developed for torque transmission. They are versatile and cost-effective belts for a wide range of applications. They can be found in older or classic applications with lower power transmission requirements.
For more demanding drives, we recommend using the higher-performance narrow section range SPB, or the raw edge version XPB. These belts can be fitted on the same pulleys as the original 17B belts.
17B belts are installed on pulleys of SPB section.
