Description

Wrapped bronze bushings are available in metric sizes in straight or flanged designs. They are wrapped from strips and calibrated. These bushings are an excellent solution for contaminated environments where relubrication is necessary due to a high level of contamination. They are characterized by resistance to shock loads and vibrations at low speeds. The diamond-shaped lubrication pockets in the sliding surface must be filled with grease before commissioning. High-quality grease reduces friction and wear by separating the bronze bushing from the shaft. In highly contaminated environments, it is recommended to protect the bushing and grease with a seal.
