Description

Wave spring washers are made of high-carbon steel and are typically used in axial load applications for small deflections, especially where radial space is limited. A typical example is the axial loading of ball bearings. The material of the washers is finely tempered high-carbon spring steel, or stainless steel. The nominal dimensions (diameters) of the spring washers are given in their pre-deformation (wave-bent) state. The actual measured diameter values are smaller.
