Angle joint THK BL 12 BD

The BL 12 BD ball joint from the manufacturer THK is a machine element designed to connect two parts of a machine or device that must move relative to each other in multiple planes. Its design allows for the transmission of motion and loads while ensuring freedom of movement in various directions.

The body of the BL 12 BD joint is made of zinc alloy, and the threaded ball stud is made of steel. The D version also features a protective rubber boot that shields the joint assembly from external contaminants. The joint connects to related parts using an M12 thread; compared to the standard, the B version has an extended ball stud with a length of M1=49 mm.

Thanks to their design and material configuration, ball joints are used in a wide variety of machinery applications where reliable motion transmission with the possibility of angular deflection is required. These include, for example, connections of control and steering elements in the automotive industry, movable joints in mechanisms and machine equipment, joints in control rods and linkage parts of agricultural machinery, connections in hydraulic and mechanical systems of construction machinery, etc.
